Dear *|FNAME|*,

The year is fast winding down and it's been a busy one hasn't it? Dave and I sold our home in Georgia and relocated to a sweet little condo in Burlington's New North End, a temporary stop as we contemplate where our next home will be. Suggestions welcome!

In the meantime, we love being a stone's throw from the Burlington Greenway (aka bike path) and it's extraordinary views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. I run the path almost daily to the Winooski River.

In other news, I'm recovering from wrist surgery following an injury last fall that didn't heal quite right so I'm fast becoming ambidextrous -doing all kinds of things with my left hand, including artwork!

With all this change I have had to be patient with my art practice and put exhibitions on pause. But the (art) show must go on! You can find my work for sale in four venues, including my website, so read on to see where you can view and purchase.

Before I go I have to take a moment to acknowledge all of our precious friends and family, as well as all of you, my fans, collectors, and clients, who have been so supportive in this year of change. You've been so generous with your time and encouragement. We have felt your love, and for that we are deeply grateful.

Here's to remaining deeply hopeful for our world, cultivating kindness, and nurturing your creative hearts in 2018!

Warmly,

Give the Gift of Creative Time this Season

I loved participating in Kristen’s open studio. I brought my own project (that I wasn’t making ANY progress on by myself), and she gave me lots of guidance, encouragement and tips on how to move forward. She checked in with me throughout the two-hour session to see if I needed help, which I often did, and turned me on to new techniques to help my project come to life. I especially liked how Kristen helped me to actualize ‘my vision’ for the painting, instead of imposing her personal style. Kristen is a talented teacher and has a vast array of artistic experience and skills to offer; I will definitely do more open studio sessions with her in the future. ~ Kara G.
